We’re looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Associate Manager to join our Licensed & International Marketing team. In this role, you’ll help bring licensed series to market — developing and executing strategic campaigns that drive audience awareness, engagement, and viewership across a wide range of genres and global titles.
The ideal candidate should love TV, entertainment/media and culture - and understands how they can intersect.
You’ll play a key role in day-to-day project management, campaign development, and cross-functional coordination, often serving as the connective tissue between internal teams and external partners.
Success in this role requires not only sharp marketing instincts and operational rigor, but also the diplomacy and communication skills to build trust and alignment across stakeholders. You can approach campaign pivots with inventive solutions that keep cross-functional teams moving forward with clarity and momentum.
Responsibilities:
+ Serve as campaign manager where you will develop and execute launch and sustain marketing tactics for licensed and exclusive shows as well as support our larger portfolio during key moments throughout the year that activate against our business goals
+ Reporting into the Manager, you will manage international and domestic licensed content partner relationships including BBC, A24, ITV, Star, Disney in achieving mutually beneficial business objectives
+ Develop creative assets for campaigns with internal and external creative teams
+ Work cross-functionally to achieve success, including collaborating with Creative, Media, Social, CRM, On channel, PR across Hulu and the greater Walt Disney Company
+ Compile metrics, data, and analysis on campaigns and offer suggestions for optimization.
+ Adapt learnings to future projects and campaigns to improve existing workflows and processes.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Minimum of 3 years of professional experience working in International Title marketing (domestically), or marketing shows from different countries/languages
+ Experience working in a fast-paced environment at a media/TV company
+ Loves the TV/entertainment industry and is entrenched in the culture
+ Experience serving as a campaign and partner manager function, sets the gold standard on collaboration, clear communication and relationship management
+ Experience collaborating within a cross functional marketing team (how to activate the Marketing channel owners is key)
+ Ability to use consumer insights to craft strategies and tell stories through campaigns
+ Very proactive with outstanding organizational and time-management skills
+ Works exceptionally well with internal teams and external partners
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to switch between creative projects and analytical/technical projects with ease
+ Fast learner, takes initiative, and is great at problem solving
+ Proficient in Google sheets, slides, and docs and Microsoft Suite
+ Curious, passionate, positive, and resilient; loves the Hulu and Disney brands
Preferred skills/experience:
+ Experience with Spanish language content a major plus
+ Kids & Family is a plus!
+ Experience managing an agency is a plus
Required Education:
+ BA or BS Degree
Please note: This role is in office Monday – Thursday, working from home on Friday. Currently, this team is located in Santa Monica, but the team is expected to transfer to Burbank.
The hiring range for this position in Santa Monica, CA is $78,200.00 to $104,800.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
