    Therapeutic Mental Health Professional

    Do you have experience in human services and want to work for a company that actively improves the lives of the individuals it serves? In the Therapeutic Mental Health Professional role, you will employ a range of techniques based on experiential relationship building, dialogue, communication, and case management that is designed to improve the mental health of an individual.

     

    + Develop individualized treatment plans in line with the eco-systemic structural family therapy model

    + Conduct twice a week scheduled face-to-face meetings with client and caretakers to discuss treatment strategies and services

    + Develop and coordinate discharge plan based on treatment, indicating all relevant aftercare needs and plans

    + Access community resources beneficial to client aftercare needs

    + Conduct psychosocial assessments, genograms, ecomaps, crisis safety plans, and critical event timelines

    + Prepare and train the individual’s biological or legal parents to provide care for their child to prevent the possibility of out of home placement

    + Maintains client’s chart record

    + Works with a partner Mental Health Worker (MHW) to provide the co-therapy dynamic based on the model of therapy

    + Attends required training and meetings

    _Qualifications:_

    + Master’s Degree in human services field

    + 2 years of experience in a CASSP system program

    + Certification and/or Licensure as applicable by state

    + Exceptional communication skills with an ability to establish trust and rapport quickly

    + A good listener with an ability to empathize while still providing guidance
