Ability to work with Residents:** **Be a part of growing and shaping new Hospitalists
Job Requirements:
Must be willing to work Nocturnist position
Must have successfully completed an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)
Must be ABIM Certified
Must have active Texas Medical License and DEA
Must have at least two (2) years of Hospitalist experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate and communicate effectively with other physicians, APPs, nurses and other healthcare professionals
Conduct thorough physical assessment and medical histories of hospitalized patients
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including imaging studies and laboratory tests, to make accurate diagnoses based on clinical findings and test results
Develop and implement patient tailored treatment plans
Provide patient and family education regarding their condition and treatments
Maintain accurate medical records and follows the standard practices of documentation
Instruct patients on prescribed therapeutic regimens, home care and health maintenance
Stay up to date on evidence-based practices relevant to hospital medicine and follow hospital-based protocols
