    Advanced Practice Provider Neurology (Epilepsy)

    Position Overview

    **Banner University Medical Group** is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Neurology-Epilepsy team in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This APP will collaborate with epileptologists, neurosurgeons, and a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive epilepsy care, including managing patients in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) and outpatient clinics.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Conduct neurological exams, evaluate seizure disorders, and develop treatment plans.

    + Manage inpatient EMU admissions, daily rounds, and discharge planning.

    + Provideoutpatient follow-up care, medication management, and patient education.

    + Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and assist in coordinating advanced epilepsy treatments.

    + Maintain thorough documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

    Qualifications Required:

    + Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program with national certification.

    + Eligible for Arizona licensure with prescriptive authority and DEA registration.

    + BLS certification (ACLS preferred).

    Preferred:

    + Experience in neurology, epilepsy, or EEG interpretation.

    + Knowledge of advanced epilepsy treatments (EMU, neuromodulation, epilepsy surgery).
