Orthopedic Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (PA or ACNP) Total Joint | Tucson, AZ

Banner University Medical Center Tucson (BUMCT) is seeking a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Orthopedic Total Joints Surgery team. This provider will play a key role in first-assisting in the operating room for surgical patients while also managing patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with a collaborative, high-performing team dedicated to providing exceptional orthopedic care. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a strong communicator, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

Position Details & Qualifications:

+ First-assist in the operating room for total joint surgical cases

+ Provide perioperative care including pre- and post-operative management

+ Assist with rounding, consults, and follow-ups on orthopedic patients

+ Work primarily Monday through Friday, with some minor group coverage, which may include taking call and rounding

+ Collaborate with a dedicated team of 4 Total Joint Surgeons and 3 Advanced Practice Providers

+ Current, unrestricted Arizona PA or ACNP license

+ Prescriptive authority including a DEA license for controlled substances

+ CPR & BLScertification required

+ Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

+ Experience in a surgical specialty preferred (new graduates will be considered)

Work Schedule:

Full-Time | Monday Friday

+ Banner University Medical Center Tucson Main Campus

+ Banner University Medical Center Tucson South Campus

+ Outpatient Clinics at 1555 E. River Rd. Suite 125, Tucson, AZ
