The Division of Surgery at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center and Banner Medical Group are actively seeking an Advanced Practice Provider with interest in Urology to provide a full-range of Urologic services in a dynamic environment; offering comprehensive and evidence-based care to the communities we serve. Our PA/ACNP will provide clinic, inpatient and OR first-assist coverage.Qualified candidates must have the ability to work in a collaborative environment; one that thrives in a highly integrated and innovative setting and a desire to focus on patient excellence.

We are seeking applicants with:

Board Certification as a Physician Assistantor Acute Care Nurse Practitioner

ACNP is required to have an RNFA certificate at the time of application

o(Documentation of successful completion of surgical first assistant training as a part of curriculum in their nationally accredited nurse practitioner program OR Attendance at a surgical first assist training course sponsored by ACE, AORN, ANCC, or equivalent as approved by the facility Credentials Committee/Medical Executive Committee)

Licensed or eligible to be licensed in the state of AZ

Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substance

1-2 years' Urology experience preferred with surgical assist skillset

Practice Details:

Full-time | M-F; 8am 5pm

Clinical/Surgical position

Provide care from the initial patient point of contact to pre-surgical requirements, and post-op follow-ups

**Banner Thunderbird Medical Center (BTMC)** has served the Northwest Valley for more than 25 years with an unrelenting focus on excellent patient care. A recently completed $290 million expansion highlights BTMCs Level I Adult Trauma Center for patients 15 and older. Designation as an Arizona Level I Trauma Center means Banner Thunderbird can provide total care for every aspect of injury, reducing the need to transfer patients outside the area for life-saving treatment. Examples of injuries a Level I can treat include traumatic car crash injuries, gunshot victims, stab wounds and traumatic brain injuries.BTMC has approximately six hundred beds and has increased its OR capacity to 19 state-of-the-art surgical suites and full complement of medical sub-specialties support a growing patient base and the vibrant Glendale and surrounding communities.
