InGenesis is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to work with our client. In this role, you will be performing skilled nursing duties. Minimum Qualifications: • Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing. • Currently licensed as a Practical Nurse in the State of Montana Job Duties: • Completes routine (weekly/monthly) nursing assessments. • Performs emergency/first aid treatment to injured residents. • Performs routine treatments to residents. • Draws blood and performs minor laboratory tests. • Administers oxygen and breathing treatments. • Administers medications and monitors medication effects. Identifies possible drug allergies and interactions. • Maintains an accurate count of controlled medications. • Oversees and directs care provided by resident care aides during shift. • Notes subjective resident complaints and objective observations of the resident’s condition. • Provides a complete shift-to-shift report. • Assists physicians in routine rounds.
