And we do it all with heart, each and every day.
Position Summary
CVS Health is embarking on a bold agenda to transform health care and empower millions of customers on their path to better health. We are creating innovative in-person and digital solutions that will make health care more accessible, more integrated, and more reliable for more people, online and in our stores. We are looking for passionate, driven people who want to join a high energy and growing team to make a difference in customers’ lives and who want to be on the ground floor of digital innovation that aims to reinvent healthcare.
As a leader in the Consumer Engagement and Analytics team, this individual will both help develop our digital partnership strategy as well as execute it, by finding high impact partners that help translate our strategic vision into new products and solutions that help meaningfully address the core health needs of our customers.
This is a unique role that will marry business and strategic rigor with an innovator’s creativity and “think customer” mentality - consistently keeping our customers’ needs at the heart of what we do - with a passion for launching products that have impact.
To be the healthcare change agent we are seeking, this person must be entrepreneurial, high-energy, and intellectually curious, and should thrive in a high demand, performance-driven environment. This individual must be comfortable working with a high degree of ambiguity, working cross-functionally and influencing others, have strong business instincts, and a track record for delivering results.
Responsibilities:
+ Develop and maintain an opportunity ‘radar’ of key consumer health needs/painpoints, healthcare market dynamics and shifts, and white space opportunities in the broader health eco-system; proactively screen for new companies and services that could address these, as well as competitor moves
+ Identify and engage new potential high-value partner opportunities that help advance CVS consumer-driven healthcare strategy
+ Undertake in-depth evaluation of potential new partners to understand what unique capabilities they offer; their relative strengths and weaknesses vs competitors and alternatives; and what net new value they could deliver to our customers and broader business
+ Lead a structured evaluation of new partner opportunities with key internal business stakeholders
+ Build the business case to support high conviction partnerships – including financials, consumer experience impact, broader business outcomes, risks & risk mitigation strategies – to generate internal buy-in from relevant business partners
+ Work with partners and key internal business stakeholders incl UX/design teams, digital/tech delivery teams, clinical teams, legal, analytics/reporting, et al to progress partnership from early concept through multiple rounds of ideation to MVP/pilot definition, product development, and launch/go-to-market
+ Develop partnership go-to-market strategy incl defining key success measures
+ Manage all partnership-related activities, including: legal, contracting, patient safety, security and technology reviews
To be successful you will:
+ Be willing to approach the large complex problems in healthcare today, with an eye to tackling these in a consumer-oriented way, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to figure out what works
+ Be able to think and operate both at the highest, portfolio-wide level (go wide) and at the more granular, consumer “moments that matter”-level (go deep), with a desire to move between both to ensure we effectively translate high-level strategic intent into actual execution in a way that drives meaningful consumer engagement and positive customer outcomes
+ Be relentless in your focus on what’s important to the customer - their end-to-end experience with us, and the actual consumer outcomes we deliver – and in your orientation to value – and how we can maximize this for consumers, for our business, and for the healthcare system at large
+ Be able to juggle multiple balls in the air: assisting and advising strategically across a broad portfolio, while also owning and delivering against key partnership initiatives with your name against them
+ Be able to work closely with key stakeholders from across our business (i.e. different Business Units, technology, digital, Legal, patient safety, medical affairs)
+ Be accountable and live your sense of ownership

+ 5+ years' experience in Strategy and/or Corporate Development, collaborating and supporting key initiatives across a broad portfolio
