    Job Description

    Clinical Nurse- Gastroenterology

     

    Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Join our team as a Clinical Nurse in our Gastroenterology department. We're looking for a dynamic nursing professional eager to showcase compassionate, evidence-based nursing care skills and make a significant impact in our organization.

    Role Overview:

    + Work within an expanding Nurse-Physician based Ambulatory Care Practice Model

    + Assume responsibility for the nursing management of patients in the GI consult service

    + Provide clinical support to staff members, and assist with medical management of ambulatory GI patients

    + Perform outpatient assessment and offer patient and family education

    + Act as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide continuity of care throughout various stages of treatment and follow-up

    Key Qualifications:

    + New York State RN license and BSN

    + A minimum of 2 years of related experience strongly preferred

    + A minimum of 2 years of oncology experience preferred

    + Strong medicine/surgery assessment skills

    + Related ambulatory oncology experience

    + BCLS

    + Four x 10 hour shifts 8am-6pm, Monday - Friday

    + $110,700.00-$177,100.00
