Assembly Technician

Job Description

Join our team as an Assembly Technician where you will play a vital role in the production of innovative lightning protection systems. This position involves hands-on assembly tasks, ensuring the quality and efficiency of our cutting-edge products.

1st shift: 6am to 2:30pm

Responsibilities

+ Measure materials and cut them into 8-inch pieces using scissors or an exacto knife.

+ Cut materials similar to film or foil wrapping paper.

+ Dip products into chemicals as part of the production process.

+ Sit for most of the day, except during the dipping process.

+ Package the final product for distribution.

+ Perform tasks without the use of computers.

Essential Skills

+ At least 1 year of experience in assembly or production.

+ Good manual dexterity for using small hand tools such as scissors and exacto knives.

+ Ability to use a tape measure accurately.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ No heavy lifting required (10-15 lbs maximum).

+ Ability to speak and read effectively.

Work Environment

Work in a small manufacturing facility with approximately 15-20 people. The company is renowned for addressing lightning damage issues in various industries, including military, aerospace, and wind energy. As part of the team, you will help produce the ShockTape™, a pioneering product that enhances lightning protection for wind turbine blades.

This is a Contract position based out of Huntington Beach, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
