    Job Title: Facilities Technician

    Job Description

    This position involves a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks with a focus on painting, carpentry, and general maintenance. The role requires skills in various technical fields including wall covering, drywall repair, and potentially tile installation, furniture finishing, framing, plumbing, and roofing.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform painting and wall covering tasks on interior and exterior surfaces.

    + Install, repair, and finish drywall and plaster.

    + Remove and reinstall furniture, equipment, and fixtures in work areas.

    + Inspect and repair damaged surfaces for remodeling projects.

    + Estimate project requirements and order necessary materials.

    + Complete carpentry, flooring, cabinetry, and related maintenance tasks.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in facilities maintenance, plumbing, troubleshooting, carpentry, electrical, painting, drywall, and mechanical tasks.

    + Ability to perform general maintenance including light electrical, light mechanical, and light plumbing work.

    + Skill in painting and light carpentry such as drywall.

    + Versatility and ability to work independently.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Vocational training or associate degree in mechanical engineering, carpentry, or related field preferred.

    + Experience with specialized pharmaceutical equipment, repair, facilities, building maintenance, lighting, hand tools, HVAC, and general labor.

    + Fire Alarm Systems certification is a bonus.

    + Familiarity with cGMP guidelines and FDA regulations.

    + Advanced computer skills for record-keeping and parts ordering.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
