    Summary:

    Design Operations Producers at Meta are connectors and problem solvers. By supporting the various aspects of the product teams, you will enable teams to focus their time on designing, building and shipping products. You will improve team communication, collaboration and remove roadblocks. Finally, you'll utilize a full range of organizational and interpersonal skills to help keep our teams on track, execute specific design initiatives intended to grow team values, industry expertise and team impact, and you'll have an opportunity to work with cross-functional teams as you establish great ways of working together.This Producer will be part of the Cross Meta Visual Systems (XMVS) team which sits within the Cross Meta Design System (XMDS) pillar of the Central Products Design organization. XMDS supports more than 25 apps and 100+ partner teams across every company pillar. This Producer would have the opportunity to partner with stakeholders across the company on very high priority projects.

    Required Skills:

    Producer, Design Operations Responsibilities:

    1. Manage Icon System production

    2. Ensure adherence and cohesion within the icon system, supporting and driving Cross-Meta Icon Council sprints

    3. Lead Iconography end to end production (includes Icon+), evolving engagement model and ensuring adoption over time

    4. Manage dot releases or improvements to visual systems

    5. Partner with Production Design Engineering on library maintenance

    6. Support Expression Program initiatives (execution of workstreams within)

    7. Partner with agencies and freelancers as needed to manage scope and ensure on-time delivery

    8. Manage iconography budget, resource allocation

    9. Identify and drive large, organization-level product initiatives forward that have multiple stakeholders, competing deadlines, multiple dependencies and many moving parts

    10. Prioritize, assess tradeoffs, propose clear solutions and communicate strategically

    11. Identify, define and manage multi-team strategic initiatives that drive efficiency and impact, often contributing best practices to the discipline

    12. Own and facilitate meetings to drive progress against goals and objectives and establish clear next steps and owners, while resolving blocks that impede progress

    13. Proactively assess risk, raise flags and resolve issues before they become problems for larger teams

    14. Sought out as the operations expert to the product team and trusted leader across the company, mentoring and sharing expertise with less experienced team members

    15. Communicate persuasively to the right audience to get buy-in and feedback

    16. Proactively problem solve and distribute information effectively

    17. Define and measure impact of programs and initiatives both qualitatively and quantitatively, continually refining and iterating to ensure usage and adoption

    18. Scale programs and initiatives when necessary and delegate effectively with clear expectations

    19. Source and manage operational budgets, vendor relationships and contracts

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Minimum Qualifications:

    20. 6+ years of experience in creative production

    21. Experience handling complexity and navigating ambiguity with teams on large scale 0 to 1 projects from concept to execution

    22. Experience working with product teams or programs from roadmapping through delivery

    23. Experience working directly with product designers, user experience researchers, and content designers

    24. Track record of operating independently and without oversight

    25. Experience leading product or business strategy in a fast-paced environment

    26. Experience managing vendors and contractors

    27. Experience using data to identify problems and communicate solutions

    Public Compensation:

    $157,000/year to $218,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
