Job Description:
This position organizes and maintains critical tracking events documents, files, and records. Coordinates PFG supplier approval program compliance ensuring supplier load compliance and Environmental Social Governance documents. Manages the distribution of PFG compliance documents to customers who request them. Communicates with suppliers, customers, government agencies, and internal departments. Solve problems and deal with a variety of produce situations where some standardization exists. Answers questions and solves quality control issues based on extensive quality control and company specific knowledge. May assist with training. Responsible for coordinating and assisting with checking quality of designated product and taking daily inventory on product. Removes spoiled product that is short-dated from inventory and repacking full cases into smaller quantities. Responsible for quality check of all produce pick locations. Pulls for dump or salvage any produce with decay or otherwise not meeting shipping requirements. Reports any dumps or salvage to Inventory Control. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
1-3 years inventory, QC/QA work experience or other related experience: warehouse/distribution. Ability to work independently as well as interact with other departments. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Access. • Ability to organize, prioritize and meet critical tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment. • Ability to accept changing work demands and seek opportunities to improve food safety systems. Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position. Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift. Able to lift and stack product between 10-35 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally throughout shift. Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e. cooler, freezer and dry. Pass pre-employment drug test
