    Role Purpose

     

    The Project Analyst will manage the financial aspects of the project throughout its lifecycle, ensuring budgets and timelines remain on track. Serve as a liaison to coordinate the schedules and tasks of numerous internal teams, and to gather insight, approvals, and other contributions from stakeholders. Implement and organize project management programs and tools to ensure an efficient system.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Prepare and analyze project schedule progress reports.

    + Review and evaluate purchase orders (POs) and invoices related to project tracks.

    + Collaborate with accounting to align project forecasts.

    + Align cost and schedule data, ensuring consistency and accuracy.

    + Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in developing accounting policies, processes, and training materials.

    + Monitor and maintain project budgets during execution.

    + Provide detailed cost reporting, including monthly or weekly updates as needed.

    + Coordinate implementation plans with project site teams, addressing misalignment and areas for improvement.

    + Assess budget revision requests, recommend approval or denial, and draft correspondence.

    + Present cost analysis and financial forecasts to leadership.

    + Update projections for cash flows, MVS, and contingency usage.

    + Support change control processes, including creating necessary forms, logs, and tracking.

    Key Skills and Competencies

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams effectively.

    + Analytical mindset with attention to detail, process orientation, and a solid understanding of GAAP.

    + Problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities, questioning existing processes to develop logical solutions.

    + Flexibility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.

    + Expertise in monitoring and improving systems to drive efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement.

    Experiences/Education - Required

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related technical field.

    + Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience within manufacturing.

    + Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, general ledger systems, and forecasting tools.

    + Knowledge of PeopleSoft, SAP, Khalix, and performance excellence methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, lean processes) is preferred.

    The range for this position is $65,931.00 - $90,656.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
