    Northrop Grumman Defense Systems has an opening for a Sr. Principal Configuration Analyst. We are looking for you to join our team as a Sr. Principal Configuration Analyst based out of Orlando, FL. As a Sr. Principal Configuration Analyst at Northrop Grumman, you will have a challenging and rewarding opportunity to be a part of our Cross-Domain Handling of Releasable Data (CHORD) portfolio. CHORD is a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) two-domain Cross Domain Solution (CDS). The CHORD portfolio comprises multiple contract awards and with various customers. The successful candidate will be exceptionally meticulous, collaborative, open, transparent, and team-oriented with a focus on team empowerment & personal responsibility, flexibility, continuous learning, and a culture of seeking the best performance from everyone.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    + The Sr. Principal Configuration Analyst will perform Data Management (DM) duties for the program.

    + They will interface regularly with configuration management to track SDRLs through the delivery and acceptance process.

    + They will be responsible for ensuring consistent documentation formatting, coordinating peer reviews, ensuring comments are addressed, delivering SDRLs to the customer, and tracking customer comments/acceptance.

    + The successful candidate shall have experience with performing DM duties on a DoD program, a proven track record of being able to manage document deliveries, and be able to ensure consistent, high-quality documentation across the program.

    Basic Qualifications:

    + Bachelors Degree, with 8 years of relevant experience in engineering development projects –OR– 6 years with a Master’s degree, –OR– 4 years with a PhD.

    + Active DoD Secret Clearance

    + Demonstrated experience performing Data Management on DoD programs

    + Demonstrated experience managing the delivery of CDRLs/SDRLs to the customer

    + Demonstrated experience in ensuring consistent, high-quality documentation

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience coordinating directly with customers for submittals of CDRL documentation to Government information repositories

    + Experience performing reviews of CDRLs related to a complex software system that operates within a "system of systems" environment

    + Experience maintaining a "Master List" and CDRL submittal schedule for development and testing of a complex software system that operate within a "system of systems" environment

    + Expertise in Microsoft Word

    + Ability to communicate effectively with other functional teams

    + Ability to track multiple document deliveries simultaneously including addressing customer comments, and redelivery

     

    Salary Range: $98,100.00 - $147,100.00

     

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

     

    Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
