Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our team in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will oversee critical tax-related functions, including federal and state compliance, reporting, and planning. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate tax filings, monitoring policy changes, and supporting strategic tax planning initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare federal income tax provisions monthly and annually in compliance with statutory accounting principles.

• Coordinate with external service providers to gather information and review annual income tax filings.

• Assist in the preparation of federal and state quarterly tax estimates and extensions, ensuring timely payment submissions.

• Create and reconcile monthly journal entries for the general ledger.

• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and assisting with internal control processes.

• Monitor tax policy changes and recommend appropriate actions to maintain compliance.

• Contribute to strategic tax planning for wealth and asset management entities.

• Complete non-income tax returns, including foreign wage taxes, property taxes, and New York City commercial rent taxes.

• Collaborate with senior tax leadership on special projects as needed. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate tax accounting or a related field.

• Proficiency with CCH ProSystem Fx and Microsoft Excel.

• Familiarity with QuickBooks and SAP S/4HANA systems.

• Strong skills in compliance and corporate tax reporting.

• Experience with ad hoc reporting and audit compliance.

• Solid understanding of corporate income tax laws and regulations.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to adapt to changing tax policies and provide actionable recommendations.
