Production Worker

Pay: $24/hour

Shift: Swing

Job Description

Join our team in Kent as a Production Worker, where you'll engage in various tasks such as operating machines, driving forklifts, and packing materials for shipment. This role requires adaptability and the ability to lift between 50 to 75 pounds in a cold environment.

Responsibilities

+ Operate machinery efficiently and safely.

+ Drive sit-down forklifts to transport materials.

+ Pack and prepare bags of materials for shipment.

+ Assist in various tasks as needed across the facility.

+ Ensure safety and cleanliness within the production area.

Essential Skills

+ General labor experience.

+ Forklift operation skills.

+ Ability to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly.

+ Capability to stand for 10-12 hours daily.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Forklift experience is preferred.

+ Experience in production or manufacturing settings.

Work Environment

The facility is primarily indoors, with periods of work outdoors, requiring exposure to various weather conditions. The environment is a gravel and concrete manufacturing setting, characterized by dust, dirt, and the constant hum of machinery. Forklifts are frequently used to load equipment, contributing to a dynamic work environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of KENT, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
