    Job Description:

    We are seeking a skilled Electrical-Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our dynamic Aerospace team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-traceability manufacturing, particularly in the aerospace, medical, or related fields. This role requires hands-on experience in electrical-mechanical assembly and final integration, as well as proficiency with precision torque, measurement, and inspection devices.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Perform electrical-mechanical assembly and final integration tasks.

    + Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations

    + Assemble and test with emphasis to detail an assortment of avionic LRUs electrical-mechanical assemblies handle and install fiber-optics and PCBAs

    + Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated

    + Supports some preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems

    + Identify equipment requirements process improvements maintain floor stock inventory

    + Execute test procedures for component and system level testing maintenance

    + Utilize precision torque, measurement, and inspection devices (e.g., automated and manual torque wrenches, torque drivers, calipers, micrometers, profilometers, optical inspection devices, multi-meters).

    + Work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

    + Read, interpret, and work from blueprints or drawings.

    + Adhere to FOD, ESD sensitive hardware, and clean room requirements.

    Required Qualifications:

    + 1+ years of relevant high-traceability manufacturing experience (aerospace, medical, or related field).

    + 1+ years of experience reading, interpreting, and working from blueprints or drawings.

    + assembly and final integration.

    + 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced production environment.

    + 1+ years of hands-on experience with precision torque, measurement, and inspection devices, as well as standard hand tools.

    Preferred Skills:

    + ASE certification and/or equivalent experience.

    + CFOT certification and/or equivalent experience.

    + Experience working with FOD, ESD sensitive hardware, and clean room requirements.

    + Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

    + Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environment.

    + Prior military service is a plus.

     

    Job Type: Full-time

     

    Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00/hr.
