Job Title: Chemical Process Technician – API ManufacturingPosition Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Chemical Process Technician to join a growing pharmaceutical manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role ideal for candidates with experience in chemical synthesis and bulk chemical handling.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Operate large-scale chemical reactors (100–900 gallons) for organic synthesis of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs).

+ Perform chemical processes such as distillations, powder weighing, and material transfers.

+ Follow SOPs to execute reactions and maintain accurate batch records.

+ Conduct sampling and sample preparation for quality control testing.

+ Assist in producing concentrated formulations for pest control applications.

+ Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (training provided).

+ Participate in a variety of chemical processes, with full training provided over time.

Qualifications:

Required:

+ High School Diploma or equivalent.

+ 6 months to 2+ years of experience in organic chemistry or chemical synthesis.

+ 1 to 3+ years of experience handling bulk chemicals.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely in a chemical environment.

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.

Preferred:

+ Experience with chemical reactors, distillation, and sample prep.

+ Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and GMP environments.

+ Knowledge of API manufacturing processes.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50960.00 - $58240.00/yr.
