    We are seeking a dedicated Medical Office Assistant to join a dynamic cardiology practice, providing essential support across multiple locations. This role involves working in a busy, team-oriented environment, focusing on patient care and administrative tasks.

    Responsibilities

    + Check patients in and out efficiently.

    + Schedule patient appointments and manage prior authorizations.

    + Maintain accurate electronic health records and perform data entry.

    + Deliver exceptional customer service in a cardiology practice.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in medical terminology and electronic health records.

    + At least one year of experience in a specialty office setting.

    + Reliable transportation.

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in a cardiology practice is preferred.

    + Familiarity with Epic and family medicine is advantageous.

    + No medical license required.

    Work Environment

    The role is based in a very busy cardiology office with multiple providers, operating Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. Candidates must be willing to float to satellite offices in Shelton, Milford, Trumbull, Fairfield, and potentially Westport within the same week. This position offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive team setting.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00/hr.
