Sales Manager Company: Closets by Design - Salt Lake City Location: Salt Lake City, UT Work Environment: In Office Schedule: Full-Time | M–F 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Rotating Saturdays About Closets by Design - Salt Lake City: Closets by Design is a premier leader in the home organizing industry, specializing in custom solutions that maximize home storage with elegance and functionality. Our offerings include custom walk-in closets, kids' closets, garage spaces, home offices, pantries, and more. Position Overview: As the Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and developing our in-home sales team. This full-time position requires a commitment to excellence and growth within a dynamic market. What You'll Be Doing: * Supporting, developing, and growing our in-home sales team of 20+ reps. * Coaching designers through 1-on-1 sessions (8+ per week) and group training. * Building strong individual relationships while holding people accountable. * Recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and (when needed) offboarding team members. * Enforcing and reinforcing a proven, process-driven sales system. * Collaborating cross-functionally with other departments to ensure team success. * Handling conflict proactively with radical candor and professional clarity. Requirements: * Minimum 4-5 years experience managing salespeople. * 2–5 years of personal sales success (in-home or B2C preferred). * Excellent knowledge of price negotiations and deal structuring. * Utah-based only – this is an in-office, in-person leadership position. * Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel. CRM or design software experience is a plus. * College degree preferred but not required.
