DESCRIPTION
The Senior Manager, Business Intelligence (Category and Space Trainer) will develop, design and deliver training for category and space associates that provide **business insights and space management expertise to Acosta** , our clients and customers.
In this position, you will work with cross-functional teams to deliver training that focuses on advanced, value-added and **insight-driven** analytical solutions that provide **actionable insights** , **business solutions** , and **profitable recommendations** .
RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Functions:
+ **Develop and deliver engaging live virtual courses and asynchronous training materials and activities on a variety of BI topics and software.**
+ **Work with subject matter experts to identify target audience’s training needs and develop materials to meet objectives.**
+ **Analyze** complex data and provide thoughtful, proactive guidance and recommendations that address the **4-Ps** (product, pricing, promotion, placement).
+ Understand the **category review** process through the 3-call process while engaging with cross-functional teams to provide a complete category management solution.
+ Knowledge of building **compelling sales presentations** using **syndicated** , **shopper** and other sources of data that provide in-depth **analysis** and **solutions** that address current business issues.
+ Understand client KPIs that **drive profit** & **sales** and deliver data reports to **scorecard** or validate progress.
+ Provide materials that train associates on follow up and **summarize results of analysis** ; create case studies and success stories.
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential Functions:
+ **Lead training and assist in transitioning Blue Yonder Software users from working with files on their desktop to working within a Blue Yonder CKB database.**
+ **Develop and deliver engaging live courses and training materials and activities on a variety of BI and space topics and software**
+ **Partner with client team leaders and managers to identify target audience’s training needs and develop materials to increase skills of associates to enable objective achievement.**
+ **Provide training and materials to increase skills in Client Management to ensure our partners look to us as a trusted strategic advisor.**
+ **Develop and implement comprehensive training plan for Space Accelerated Development program associates.**
+ **Analyze** complex data and provide thoughtful, proactive guidance and recommendations that address the **4-Ps** (product, pricing, promotion, placement).
+ Understand and teach associates about ways to maximize the **category review** process through engaging with cross-functional teams to provide a complete category management solution **focusing on utilization of data, tools, analysis and technology** .
+ Knowledge of building **compelling sales presentations** using **syndicated** , **shopper** and other sources of data that provide in-depth **analysis** and **solutions** that address current business issues. Keeping focus on **maximizing use of existing Tools such as Foresite** .
+ Understand client KPIs that **drive profit** & **sales** and deliver data reports to **scorecard** or validate progress.
+ Provide follow up and **summarize results of analysis** ; create case studies and success stories.
Education Requirements:
+ Minimum of High School Diploma/GED; Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
+ Related work experience can be substituted for the educational requirement
+ Category Management or Space Management Certifications (preferred)
**Work Experience Requirements** :
+ 3-5 years related work experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
+ Solid working knowledge of the **CPG and/or Retail Industry** (data sources, tools, concepts, etc.).
+ Proficient in **industry tools** utilized in the completion of the work assigned including but not limited to **Blue Yonder Space Planning Software.**
+ Demonstrate an advanced degree of proficiency in Windows and related applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Space Management Software as needed.
+ Demonstrate advanced skill in plan preparation, **delivering effective solutions** .
+ Extrapolate opportunities to **drive results** based on **analysis** of a business challenge or opportunity.
+ Communicate clearly and effectively while understanding and adapting to audience.
+ Independently manages and, at times, **lead project plans** and assumes responsibility for tracking, communication and timing.
+ Breakdown larger problems into smaller components and **potential resolutions** .
+ Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, gaining trust and respect, leading to **optimal execution of results** .
+ **Execute** against strategic objectives by developing **tactical plans** .
