DESCRIPTION
As a Claims Resolution Analyst, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our claims process. Your key responsibilities will include:This position will be responsible for processing and handling any claims that are incomplete or escalated for validation. This person will also be responsible for analyzing claims and making decisions about their validity. The position will be a communicator to internal and external business partners and a problem solver/agent for change to provide continuous improvements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
+ **Claims Processing and Resolution:** Handle and process escalated claims, assess the reasons for escalation, and provide timely resolutions as directed by the Supervisor. You will also search for and link invoices, contracts, and Proof of Performance to claims as needed.
+ **Systematic Analysis:** Utilize systems, reports, and Standard Operating Procedures to work through assigned claim steps and gather supporting information. Process invalid claims in accordance with set policies and guidelines and correct any claims that were erroneously passed.
+ **Validation and Decision Making:** Analyze claims to determine their validity, make final decisions on escalated claims, and research validation issues to recommend appropriate solutions.
+ **Dashboard Monitoring:** Regularly review the claims dashboard for actionable items, ensuring that client and customer goals and requirements are met or exceeded.
+ **Communication and Coordination:** Act as a key communicator with Sales, clients, customers, and the management team to gather necessary information and provide value-added solutions. Proactively manage client and customer target dates to ensure timely processing of claims.
+ **Problem Solving:** Use your problem-solving and analytical skills to understand types of escalations and resolve them to prevent recurrence. Work towards decreasing defects and achieving automation targets by keeping Standard Operating Procedures updated.
+ **Root Cause Analysis:** Monitor specific escalation data to determine the root cause, origin, and reasons for escalations. Discuss defect issues with Sales, clients, customers, and the management team to address and resolve the root cause.
+ **Operational Efficiency:** Recognize and provide solutions for operational obstacles that delay work completion on claims issues. Escalate complex situations to the supervisor when necessary.
+ **Continuous Improvement:** Act as an agent for change by providing continuous improvements in the claims process. Communicate regularly with clients and customers to offer value-added solutions and ensure compliance with client procedures and policies.
+ **Additional Duties:** Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the claims resolution process.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
+ High School Diploma/GED
Work Experience:
+ Four years of claims experience preferred
+ Food brokerage experience and/or client experience in sales administration is strongly preferred
+ Relationship management experience preferred
