    **Sodexo** is hiring a **Child Nutrition Food Operations Manager 2** to oversee a potential partnership with Charter Schools in **Jacksonville, FL.** The ideal candidate will be a self sufficient manager capable of acting independently to drive successful outcomes for the unit. At Sodexo, we deliver food, nutrition, environmental and facilities management solutions to partnered K-12 schools.     What You'll Do

    + Create and maintain a safe work environment for all employees

    + Utilize Sodexo tools to build strong client, customer, and staff relationships

    + Oversee daily food service operations and ensure regulatory compliance

    What You Bring

    + Experience managing child nutrition food service operations (National School Lunch Program, NSLP preferred)

    + Strong culinary background with an eye for operational efficiency

    + Commitment to employee training, engagement, and safety

    + Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish preferred). Valid driver's license is required.

    + Ability to prioritize tasks and lead with flexibility and professionalism

    + Proficiency in computer systems and strong reporting skills

    Qualifications & Requirements

     

    Minimum Education Requirement -Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

     

    Minimum Management Experience - 2 years

     

    Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
