    Summary of Responsibilities:

    Bring your Positive Energy to ATC! We are looking for a Substation Services Engineer to develop and maintain the life cycle needs of our substation equipment.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    You’ll use your bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and 5+ years of experience to provide guidance with substation equipment supporting Planning, Operations, Engineering, Construction and Maintenance activities. You’ll also support project teams with standards development to ensure the design and installation of substation assets are in alignment with industry standards while considering best practices. You will also be involved in research activities to keep the company aligned with the latest technologies and work with Asset Managers supporting life-cycle asset management. Knowledge in one or more of the following areas is a plus:

     

    + Structural loading

    + Steel structure designs for bus support and equipment support

    + Rigid bus design and modeling

    + Foundation designs for substation structures and equipment

    + Concrete foundation assessments and repairs

    + Soil investigation, earthwork and geotechnical recommendation

    + Substation site grading, draining, and roadways

    + Oil spill containment designs
