    Founded in 1938, Wilcox Medical Center is a not-for-profit medical center dedicated to providing the Kaua‘i community with accessible quality health care.     The Ambulatory Surgery department provides a wide array of surgical procedures and care in an outpatient setting. Patients requiring attention for medical conditions that can be treated without overnight admission to a hospital are attended to by our team of general and specialized surgery professionals. We offer state-of-the-art technology, comfortable surroundings and health care staff who are skilled, knowledgeable and sensitive to patient's needs.

     

    If you have a fine-tuned sense of responsibility and excellent patient communication skills, you could help the Clinical Operation team uphold the highest standards of excellence in health care at Wilcox’s Ambulatory Surgery department. As the Clinical Assistant, you will assist in performing nursing and health care service procedures, as well as certain clerical services. We are looking for someone motivated and detail-oriented who shares our commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

    **Minimum Qualifications:** High school or equivalent. Completion of a nurse aide course with certification or completion of nursing fundamentals. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card.

    **Preferred Qualifications:** Current Hawai’i Certified Nursing Assistant certificate. One (1) year experience in an acute or skilled nursing facility. Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with personal computers.
