    Responsibilities

    We are seeking an experienced **Senior Manager – Compliance, the Americas** to lead and enhance our healthcare and regulatory compliance program in the US, Canada & Mexico, with a strong focus on healthcare compliance. This role is central to ensuring we comply with relevant regulations and reinforcing the culture of ethics and accountability across the Americas. This role is a people manager role, managing a team of 2 others.

     

    This position may be remote or on-site (in Miami Lakes, FL) and is open to qualified candidates anywhere in the U.S.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Lead, implement and simplify (where appropriate) the company’s compliance program, policies, and procedures, explaining the **HOW** , the **WHAT** and the **WHY** .

    + Ensure compliance with applicable laws, including U.S. healthcare laws and regulations, including those enforced by the FDA and industry standards like those of AdvaMed US.

    + Partner with cross-functional teams to provide compliance business partnership across FDA-regulated activities, including clinical trials, labeling, marketing, product launch, manufacturing, and post-market surveillance.

    + Monitor regulatory changes and industry best practices; assess and communicate their impact to relevant stakeholders.

    + Lead and manage internal investigations (together with in-house or external counsel) related to potential compliance concerns or misconduct. Ensure appropriate documentation, root cause analysis, and remediation.

    + Conduct compliance risk assessments and oversee implementation of risk mitigation plans.

    + Develop and deliver compliance training and communications across the organization.

    + Support internal and external audits and FDA inspections, including follow-up and remediation efforts.

    + Lead the Americas Compliance Committee.

    + Serve as a trusted business partner on compliance issues and reinforce a culture of integrity throughout the organization.

    + Prepare and present regular compliance reports to business leaders.

    + Additional duties and responsibilities as needed

    Qualifications

    **Required** :

    + Minimum of 12 years experience or combination of education and experience in healthcare compliance, with deep familiarity in FDA regulations, AdvaMed US Rules and some experience in internal investigations.

    + Bachelor’s degree required in legal, compliance, healthcare management or other relevant field.

    + Candidates with backgrounds in legal, compliance, regulatory affairs, quality assurance, finance, internal audit, sales, marketing or other relevant field will be considered.

    + Strong knowledge of U.S. healthcare and medical device regulatory frameworks.

    + Proven ability to manage investigations confidentially and effectively.

    + Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills with senior management and peers across functions.

    + Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a remote setting
