**Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring experienced **Marine Outside Machinists** for projects located in the **Alameda, CA area** . This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is **up to $34/hour** based on experience and skill level **plus $180/per diem** for travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:

+ Installation & overhaul of shipboard machinery

+ Removal, repair, build, install and alignment of propellers, shafts, bearings, engines, generators and anchor windlasses

+ Construction & repair of tugboats, ferries, coast guard cutters, cruise ships, pilot boats, barges and marine vessels of all kinds

+ Other tasks as assigned

Requirements

+ Must have OSHA 10 maritime

+ Fire-watch certification

+ Must be able to pass a drug screen

+ Must have respirator fit certificate
