    Overview

     

    We are seeking an Account Director for a hybrid position in our Birmingham, MI office (3 days on site per week, 2 days from home per week). The Account Director is responsible for proactively driving and owning the health, stability, and growth of assigned client business while confidently maturing the client relationship across workstreams. This individual will lead integrated teams focused on creating and optimizing cross-channel, journey-based experiences for automotive brands. We are seeking a self-directed Account leader with strong analytical, communication and collaboration skills and an understanding of data analytics to drive and optimize successful digital and CRM programs for clients.

    Responsibilities

    + Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on assigned business, seeking to become a trusted advisor and foster strong, long-lasting relationships.

    + Understand client goals and objectives with accountability for the success of projects and engagements, ensuring they meet client expectations and deliver measurable results.

    + Regularly communicate progress, insights, and recommendations to clients.

    + Develop and oversee comprehensive digital marketing strategies that leverage data analytics, CRM insights and customer journey mapping, aligned with industry trends and best practices.

    + Work with cross-disciplinary teams and agency partners to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and drive integration of digital and CRM initiatives across multiple channels.

    + Partner with data analytics teams to analyze campaign performance and derive actionable insights to continuously optimize the work.

    + Present data insights and recommendations to clients, simplifying complex data into understandable information.

    + Collaborate across strategy, analytics, and technology execution teams on regular testing strategies, analyses, reporting, and optimization implementation.

    + Champion digital marketing principles and systems design thinking across client programs and initiatives.

    + Lead and mentor a team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement and providing strategic guidance and support to junior team members.

    + Track and report on account financials, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.

    + Proactively expand relationships within current clients and find opportunities for organic and inorganic growth.

    Qualifications

    + 7+ years of professional work experience including in an account management role at a fast-paced digital or advertising agency.

    + Demonstrated experience in digital brand marketing and/or experience with systems design for major brands.

    + Automotive marketing experience (Tier 1 and/or Tier 3) a plus.

    + Understanding of an omni-channel marketing ecosystem and customer-led marketing strategies.

    + Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable strategies.

    + Proven ability to build successful relationships with clients and cross-functional teams.

    + Able to set goals for a project/track/workstream level while contributing/championing the overall vision for the client.

    + Strong external and internal communicator and effectively able to tailor the message for different stakeholders (e.g. leadership, disciplines, finance, staffing, etc.).

    + Demonstrable experience leading and managing cross-functional teams and ability to influence actions, behaviors, and or decisions of others.

    Compensation Range: $95,950 - $131,300 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
