    Your Mission: Ensuring Airworthiness and Excellence

     

    At **PDS Tech Commercial** , we’re seeking skilled and safety-driven **Flight Readiness Technician Inspectors** to support the team in **North Charleston, SC** . In this role, you’ll be the final checkpoint before takeoff — performing inspections, troubleshooting, and validating aircraft functionality to ensure every delivery meets the highest safety and performance standards.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    + Conduct **pre-flight and post-flight checks** , final component installations, and systems functionality testing.

    + Inspect **pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems** to isolate and document mechanical or electrical/electronic faults.

    + Perform **rework, modifications, and maintenance tasks** on aircraft to prepare for delivery.

    + Verify the accuracy and quality of work performed during installation and functional tests.

    + Support system and sub-system pre-delivery inspections.

    + Coordinate tasks with team leads, with work reviewed upon completion for adequacy.

    + Work any shift required by operations, including nights and weekends.

     

    What You’ll Bring

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    + High School Diploma/GED and typically 4+ years of related experience, or equivalent (e.g. Associate degree + 2 years).

    + Willingness and availability to work any shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd), including weekends.

    + FAA Airframe & Power Plant (A&P) license

    + Minimum of 1 year of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing.

    + Minimum of 1 year of avionics and/or electrical systems experience.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Team environment or team leadership experience.

    + Background in airline, MRO, or overhaul operations.

    + Comfortable using computing systems and diagnostic tools.

    **Pay Details:** $36.03 to $45.41 per hour
