    PDS Tech Commercial is hiring a **Manufacturing Technician** to support production of **Process Gas Chromatograph instruments** at our partner facility in **Houston, TX (77041)** . This full-time, first-shift role is ideal for technically skilled professionals — especially those with **military electronics backgrounds** — who are ready to make a tangible impact on high-performance, safety-critical systems.

     

    Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

    As a key member of the production team, you will:

    + Troubleshoot defective electronic subassemblies and full electronic systems

    + Monitor production processes and report anomalies to Product Support

    + Implement corrective actions and collaborate with production and engineering teams

    + Gather and analyze data to support root-cause investigations

    + Work with sensor and measurement technologies

    + Operate on the production floor and in office settings (on-site only)

    + Ensure products meet standards for hazardous area applications (OJT available)

     

    What We’re Looking For

    Required Qualifications:

    + Minimum **2-year associate degree** in electronics or engineering

    + Strong electronic background with diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

    + 2–5 years of manufacturing experience in a **production (repetitive build)** environment

    + Ability to work independently with attention to detail **_This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license._**

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + **Military background** in electronics (Air Force, Navy, Space Force preferred, others considered)

    + Familiarity with **hazardous area equipment standards**

    + Experience with **instrument configuration or system-level testing**

    + Programming experience a plus

    **Pay Details:** $30.00 per hour
