    Description

    **Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring experienced **Journeyman Electricians** for projects located in the **Rochester, NY area** . This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is **up to $31/hour** based on experience and skill level.     Job Scope:

    + Installation of CAT5 whips for lighting controls

    + Installation of lighting control devices

    + Installation of switches, lights, plugs, panels, fixtures, wire ways, troughs, outlets, and high voltage

    + Troubleshooting

    + Run & pull wire

    + Testing electrical systems using ohmmeters, voltmeters

    + Compliance with job specifications and local codes

    + Commercial & residential electrical work

    + Perform work according to planned layouts, job specifications, and local codes

    + Inspection, testing and team collaboration

    Requirements

    + Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings

    + Experience with switches, lights, plugs

    + Proficiency in EMT, RMC, plastic coated IMC, RNC, LMFT, flex, MC cable

    + Experience in motor controls, switchgear, panels, fixtures, troubleshooting

    + Familiarity with wire ways, troughs, cable trays, high voltage

    + Ability to lay, run, and bend conduit

    + Must have a minimum of 7+ years of commercial experience
