Description

SAIC is seeking to hire a **Senior Systems Engineer** to support a Naval contract located at Point Mugu, CA.

The successful candidate will demonstrate understanding for processes supporting file transfers between classified networks. The candidate will monitor the group mailbox for fleet support requests, document, various service desk processes, track fleet liaison metrics and manage hardware inventory log.

Also, candidates with interest in this position will be expected to support and perform the following Systems Engineering activities related to Electronic Warfare Technology: requirements definition, analysis and engineering, system analysis and design, interface and data architectures, validation and verification, test and defect analysis, trouble shooting, systems integration, decision analysis, and configuration analysis.

The candidate will operate as a member of an integrated team with the customer and other engineering professionals all who are focused on the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions. Additional performance capabilities include functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, commercial research and COTS assessments, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software or engineering specifications.

Qualifications

Education and experience:

+ Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

Required skills:

+ RF Technology, Manufacturing, Engineering Technician support, and systems integration experience.

+ Test engineering experience.

+ LabVIEW experience and use of standard MS Office tools.

Clearance required:

+ Candidate must have an active DoD Secret security clearance. Higher clearance are acceptable as this position will require a Top Secret post hire.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
