    The Role

     

    Coordinates setup, review, publishing of maintenance strategies and repair options to drive lowest TCO Service Offerings on Caterpillar Oil, Gas and Marine product.

    Job** **Duties/Responsibilities** **include, but are not limited to:

    + Facilitates setup, review, publishing and maintenance of maintenance strategies and repair options in support of new product introduction, continuous process improvement, and revision timelines. Manages and acts on dealer & customer feedback into models.

    + Participates in new product introduction collaboration activities and manages projects to ensure service information and/or data is correct on base model templates used for Service offerings generating TCO models

    + Trains and mentors new staff on how to create, validate, and revise technical service information and/or data. Instructs team members on templates to be used for specific projects. Maintains and revises service information and/or data creation standards.

    + Be a SME, subject matter expert in the maintenance strategies to maintain Caterpillar Oil, Gas and Marine products to lowest TCO with high asset reliability.

    + Develops and maintains documentation layout, structure and templates. Defines sources of information and process for collection and verification of content. Participates in process improvement efforts.

    + Communicates and models the criticality of customer focus as an organizational strategy.

    **Data Gathering & Analysis** : Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment.

    Level Extensive Experience:

    + Advises on advanced data gathering and analysis methodologies and technologies.

    + Oversees data gathering and analysis activities within the organization.

    + Documents sources and validates the accuracy of data analysis by evaluating the pros and cons of data analysis methods used.

    + Implements procedures and policies within a data processing function.

    + Teaches others how to improve the validity and reliability of data used in various analyses.

    + Evaluates best practices of data gathering and analysis within the industry.

    **Service Excellence** : Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques; ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner.

    + Relocation is available

    + Up to 10% travel

    + This role is fully onsite in Houston, TX.

    Summary Pay Range:

    $95,640.00 - $143,520.00

     

    Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
