The hospital has achieved a Level III designation for trauma. The successful candidate will be responsible for various functions including trauma activations, evaluating patients in the emergency room, rounding, bedside procedures, and trauma consults. APPs will work in collaboration with a number of Acute Care Surgeons. In consultation with the physician(s) and care team members, Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners develop plans for further evaluation of health needs, e.g., referral to other health team members or specialists.
