Procurement Manager Edible Oils

Reporting to the Director of Risk within Procurement, you'll be responsible for Conagra Brands' direct physical Edible Oils and Fats Procurement ensuring it is at competitive market prices, meets quality requirements, and is the right quantity at the right time.
You will be responsible for physical procurement activities including cash and basis contracting, driving cost savings, forecasting and communicating accurate material input cost changes. Additionally, you will develop relationships with internal customers, research and development, and external suppliers to drive change. Other responsibilities include executing digital transformation strategies, working capital plans, and contracting policy management with the category
Position Responsibilities:
+ Manage categories as assigned.
+ Lead the team of three ensuring supply of approximately 350MM Lbs. annually across 15 types of oils.
+ Lead the team that negotiates approximately $200MM of oil cost annually with emphasis on Soy, Palm and Canola.
+ Stay up to speed with current market fundamentals and choose market entry timing.
+ Study and understand physical cost drivers applicable to supplier business models.
+ Develop and negotiate sourcing strategies in collaboration with key functions across the Supply Chain and various Brands.
+ Draft Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposal (RFP), and conduct associated analysis on replies.
+ Become familiar with historical cost inflection points in time to enhance future strategy development.
+ Define strategic relationships with the supply base.
+ Serve as the primary relationship manager with the supply base and brokerages measuring and monitoring performance indicators.
+ Serve as the point of contact for the Brand and Finance teams with regards to economics and forecasting.
+ Consult with sales and product development on innovation opportunities.
+ Enforce the supplier service and quality requirements of Conagra Brands.
+ Partner with Operations and Brands to resolve all supply chain issues.
+ Provide concise description of positions, risks, and risk mitigation strategies as applicable to supply availability to management.
+ Create and guide cost savings with a continuous improvement mindset.
Position Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree required.
+ 5+ yrs experience in Procurement or related field
+ High level of proficiency in Excel - Intermediate level
+ Working knowledge of Power BI navigation.
+ Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
+ In the Omaha office 3 days per week, Tuesday - Thursday

Compensation:
Pay Range:$107,000-$156,000
_The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees._
