Job Description

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities** include the following, but not limited to:

+ Perform service and maintenance as required on commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.

+ Must be organized and able to maintain a neat and orderly workplace.

+ Follow and comply with all safety policies of the company.

+ Provide maintenance, diagnose and repair various commercial and industrial heating and cooling systems.

+ Test HVAC and refrigeration systems and components.

+ Verify compliance with plans and specifications to detect and locate malfunctions.

+ Maintain cleaning coils and leak checks.

+ Lay out and connect electrical wiring between the controls and the equipment according to wiring diagrams, using electrician’s hands tools.

+ Navigate and understand complex written and verbal directions.

+ Diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions; install or replace damaged equipment, calibrate controls.

+ Repair and replace damaged or worn heating, ventilation and air-conditioning parts and equipment.

+ Inspect and observe pressure of liquids and vapors with instrumentation to ensure efficient operation of units and make necessary adjustments.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience

Requires vocational or technical training. HVAC EPA Certification or N.A.T.E. North American Technician Excellence Certification for Air Conditioning is required. Minimum of 7 years of related experience.
