What You’ll Work On
+ Provides operational and technical leadership to other Service Support Specialist and Service leaders. Provides back up support to manager as needed. Supports Quarterly Business Reviews in conjunction with Technical Service Operations and Quality Affiliate Compliance Organizations.
+ Manages the development and implementation process of company's products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products.
+ Expedite, manage, and coordinate a multitude of interrelated activities within constraints of limited human and financial resources and changing priorities.
+ Provide leadership by managing major projects or a combination of projects that drives process improvements resulting in measurable and sustainable enhancements to the division
+ This position is responsible for overseeing and managing Quality requirements and processes related to Global Service. This position will ensure that high impact programs are defined, resourced, prioritized and implemented in order to achieve short, mid and long-range plan. Will work with Global Service & Support, Service Managers, R&D, Affiliate Quality, PQA, Manufacturing, and TPD to support development of an integrated service strategy.
+ Formulates, harmonizes and consolidates project scopes, plans, strategies, and budgets for one or more projects, working closely with functional Project Managers and other Subject Matter Experts from R&D, Commercial, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, Manufacturing, and other functions
+ Prioritizes activities across programs to balance resource availability, program deliverables and schedule, and business needs
+ Identifies areas for process improvement, and defines and implements solutions, liaising with other stakeholders such as Project Owners, functional managers and senior management as appropriate
+ Ensures that the cross-functional members work as a “team” focused on business unit goals identified and managing program and solution interdependencies.
+ Develops and monitors the application of operating systems including policies and procedures, operating structure, and information flow.
+ Ensures the volume of work produced meets product/service standards and exceeds quality standards.
+ May develop business plan for team/group operations including budget development, service-related activity implementations (TSB, new processes, documentation, etc.)
+ Approves personnel activities concerning hiring, training/development, and evaluation of staff performance.
+ Services as member of the Cross Functional Team (CFT) for the Installation and Service Procedures and Call Management Processes. Ensures procedures are updated and accurate to current process and regulatory requirements. May serve on other CFTs for Quality Processes or Subsystems that impact Service and Support.
+ Serve as a subject matter expert on service processes during audits. Provide inspection readiness activities for Service.
+ May lead a project team. Acts as a mentor to less-experienced staff and may provide work direction or supervise other technical employees.
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Technical Field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
+ Minimum 7 years of related work experience with a complete understanding of specified functional area.
+ Comprehensive knowledge of a particular technological field.
+ Uses in-depth knowledge of business unit functions and cross group dependencies/ relationships.
+ Is recognized as an expert in work group and across functions.
+ Will perform this job in a quality system environment.
+ Failure to adequately perform tasks can result in noncompliance with governmental regulations.
+ Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
+ Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
+ Has broad knowledge of various technical alternatives and their potential impact on the business.

The base pay for this position is $97,300.00 – $194,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
