Your primary responsibility will be to ensure effective communication and collaboration between different stakeholders, enabling a proactive and comprehensive approach to the coordination, packing, freight, and deployment of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and other procured equipment. Your main focus will be building a hardware inventory, coordinating hardware refreshes and shipping parts & equipment to the field. Work with the EITaaS Logistics department and DAF stakeholders to ensure hardware is tracked, maintained, and accounted for throughout their lifecycle per DAF policy.
What You’ll Get to Do:
+ Support the Inventory and Accountability of IT assets in CACI facilities and remote bases
+ Prepare required forms for shipping, receiving, and transferring equipment
+ Coordinate and process EITaaS equipment for excess or disposal according to DAF policy
+ Perform full asset inventories and maintain accurate equipment accounts
+ Load new Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) into the DAF Approved Property System of Record (APSR)
+ Conduct regular audits per EITaaS and DAF policy
+ Assist in preparing discrepancy reports and support recurring inventory audits
+ Receive shipments, investigate and provide theft/loss notifications to DAF
+ Follow up with base end users to ensure proper documentation and asset accountability
+ Ensure proper labeling and tagging of all IT Assets
+ Place orders for new devices or replacement hardware
+ Coordinate with shipping/freight vendors, utilizing LTL freight when necessary
+ Package and ship IT assets to CONUS and OCONUS locations as required
+ Track and report on all software, hardware, and licenses in accordance with DAF policies.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
+ Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance
+ 10+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field may be substituted for 5 years of relevant experience).
+ Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
+ Ability to conduct detailed research and analysis of technical data
+ Ability to read and interpret management policy, Standard operating procedures, regulations, and directives.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Products, especially Microsoft Excel
+ Experience with Government IT systems and asset management tools
+ Ability to work effectively with a group or independently.
