    Job Summary:

    The Program Coordinator, Steering Committee & Data Governance is a critical role responsible for the efficient and effective operation of multiple data steering committees across the organization. This individual will provide administrative, logistical, and communication support to ensure these committees function smoothly, meet their objectives, and contribute to the overall success of the enterprise data governance strategy. The Coordinator will work closely with committee chairs, members, data owners, data stewards, and other stakeholders to facilitate meetings, track action items, manage documentation, and ensure clear communication regarding data governance initiatives. This role requires excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills, along with a strong understanding of data governance principles.

    Responsibilities:

    + **Steering Committee Coordination** : Schedule, organize, and facilitate all aspects of multiple data steering committee meetings, including developing agendas with the chair, preparing meeting materials (presentations, reports, documents), distributing materials in advance, managing meeting logistics (venue, technology), recording and distributing meeting minutes, and tracking attendance.

    + **Communication & Reporting** : Serve as a central point of contact for data steering committee-related communications. Disseminate information to committee members and stakeholders, track progress on action items, prepare regular reports on committee activities and progress, and maintain accurate records of all committee decisions, documents, and communications.

    + **Documentation & Repository Management** : Maintain and organize all steering committee-related documentation in a central repository. This includes charters, meeting minutes, presentations, policies, procedures, and other relevant materials. Ensure documentation is easily accessible, up-to-date, and properly indexed.

    + **Project Support** : Provide project support with detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones for data engineering and governance projects, such as data quality initiatives and engineering solutions; and, assist with the development of data governance initiatives, policies, and procedures. This may include conducting research, gathering data, preparing presentations, and tracking project progress.

    + **Stakeholder Engagement** : Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including senior leadership, architects, and cross-departmental teams including data stewards, data engineers, business unit representatives, and other stakeholders.

    Competencies:

    + **Project Management** : Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and execute projects effectively. Proficiency in using project management tools and techniques to track progress, manage deadlines, and ensure successful outcomes. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

    + **Communication** : Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively with diverse audiences. Experience preparing professional reports, presentations, and meeting minutes. Strong active listening skills.

    + **Organization & Time Management** : Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain accurate records. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and completeness.

    + **Collaboration & Relationship Building** : Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and external partners. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and influence others to achieve common goals.

    + **Data Governance Knowledge** : A foundational understanding of data governance principles, data quality concepts, data stewardship roles, and data management best practices. Familiarity with common data governance frameworks and methodologies is preferred. A willingness to learn and grow in this area is essential.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Information Management) is required.

    + Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a project coordination, administrative, or program support role.

    + Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

    + Proficiency in GSuite and collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams).
