Surgically trained physician able to perform independently as a Surgical Assistant in the OR. The Surgical Assistant manages the day-to-day perioperative needs of surgical patients in conjunction with the attending surgeon. They maintain a collaborative work environment that is safe, just, and founded on principles of high reliability and quality outcomes for patients and colleagues. The Surgical Assist will perform duties in accordance with state and federal regulations as well as network policies, scope of practice guidelines and approved clinical privileges.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: 1. MD/DO. 2. Minimum of 3 years of surgical residency training. 3. Possess technical skills to help and complement primary surgeon in pursuing step by step surgical technique e.g. clamping, tying, cuffing sutures, cutting tissue. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: 1. Robotic Training.
