    Senior Level Designer

     

    We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Level Designer with a deep knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 to join our team. You will be responsible for designing compelling environments, crafting engaging player experiences, and collaborating across disciplines to bring our game world to life.

     

    You must have a strong understanding of Blueprint scripting, open-world systems, and the ability to drive tasks independently while coordinating with multiple departments such as Art, Engineering, Narrative, and Systems Design.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

    + Design, prototype, and iterate on engaging, open-world areas/levels that support core gameplay, narrative, and exploration goals.

    + Create open-world areas and/or build levels using UE5, with a strong focus on level layout, pacing, player guidance, and gameplay readability.

    + Utilize Blueprints to script gameplay logic, interactive elements, and systemic events.

    + Work closely with Art and Environment teams to ensure levels meet visual fidelity and technical constraints and performance standards.

    + Collaborate with Systems Designers to integrate gameplay mechanics, AI behavior, and systemic features into areas of the open world.

    + Champion player experience and usability, conducting playtests within your team and gathering feedback for continuous iteration.

    + Contribute to world-building and the design of systemic content, events, and world activities typical of open-world games.

    + Own the full lifecycle of level design tasks, from conceptualization through implementation, to polish and bug fixing.

    + Create and maintain level, gameplay, and player experience documentation related to your role.

    REQUIREMENTS

    + Proven experience designing and building levels in Unreal Engine 5, with a strong proficiency in Blueprint scripting.

    + Deep understanding of the open-world game structure, player progression, and systemic gameplay design.

    + Strong spatial design skills with a keen eye for layout, flow, pacing, and player direction.

    + Passion for games and creating unforgettable player experiences.

    + Experience shipping an open-world RGP or action-RPG.
