The Largo Consolidated Manufacturing Center Operations Manager is responsible for the strategic leadership and overall factory execution for a $500M portfolio consisting of multiple Mission Systems programs. The Operations Manager will be accountable for leading a team of Manufacturing Operations Program Managers and Factory Managers responsible for schedule performance, risk and opportunity management, operational efficiencies, and continuous improvement across the program portfolio. The successful candidates will ensure that functional and factory teams are executing strategies to meet cost, quality, and schedule requirements while focusing on profitability, improved ROI and sustained growth.
This is an Onsite role at our Largo, FL facility.
You will have demonstrated success in factory operations, engineering and/or supply chain with experience as a Cost Account Manager and leading in a matrixed environment. A thorough understanding of factory manufacturing/operations, proposal development, schedule development, procurement, and build processes are required. The Operations Manager will leverage strong technical, communication, and interpersonal skills and must have the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams as well as with senior management. This position is responsible for the total Operations program life cycle, from bid/proposal through development/EDM, transition to build, production, and depot/sustainment.
Additionally, this position also serves as a member of the Largo Site Leadership team, providing input into the direction and development of the overall site, with primary focus on operations and manufacturing program activities. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Operations for the Largo CMC.
Relocation will be considered for well-qualified candidates.
Qualifications You Must Have:
+ Understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and utilizing system data (on systems such as PRISM/SAP) to mitigate constraints along the critical path.
+ Strong business and financial acumen, analytical and problem solving skills, reliability and sound judgment
+ Ability to articulate complex issues into succinct, cohesive summaries and presentations.
+ Experience using business and project management tools and procedures such as Proposals, Transition to Manufacturing, Risk Management, Financial Forecasts
+ Excellent conceptual problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to bring structure to vaguely defined problems, pragmatically scope problem solving approach, and manage execution
+ Proven leadership experience and ability to drive results through a cross-functional team
+ Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally
+ Typically requires: Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of prior relevant experience **_OR_** Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience
+ The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

+ Operations/Program Management experience
+ Experience in Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing policies and procedures
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to storyline and prepare executive-level discussion documents with a demonstrated ability to influence different styles
+ Experience using business and project management tools and procedures such as Proposals, Transition to Manufacturing, Risk Management, Financial Forecasts
+ Earned Value and Program Leadership Certifications
+ Demonstrated experience in Lean, CORE, and other Operational Excellence methodologies

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
