Posting Title: Logistics Material Planner

The Logistics Material Planner will support an area focused on the planning and execution of Logistics Operations within Inventory, Warehousing, and Material Distribution operations for Raytheon Sensors Logistics working onsite in Louisville, KY.

The successful candidate will have a strong working knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems in a manufacturing environment and utilize data driven decision making to prioritize and schedule work through the shared services.

The role required daily collaboration across multiple functional and program areas through data analysis, and fact-based communications to maintain department and organizational goals. The individual will need to develop credibility and trust, working with Operations, Production Control, Packaging, Shipping with Logistics intentions at the forefront. Tasks to be performed will entail providing strong organizational, technical, & business support for functions within the site’s Logistics Team. This individual will support associated tasks, listed below, which are necessary to provide the highest standards of internal customer service to our factory’s Operations within Production. This position will be directly responsible for supporting Customer Oriented Results and Excellence (C.O.R.E.) with a mindset of continuous improvement.

What You Will Do

+ Systematic review of open transfer orders within our Enterprise Resource System: SAP (PRISM) to ensure timely closeout of actions to exceed or maintain our standard service levels for picks, put-aways, & yields.

+ Review and annualize stock data and factory needs of chemical consumption to ensure continuous access to needed chemicals and supplies.

+ To cross train throughout the Logistics Support Staff to provide back-up coverage as needed in Cycle Count Entry, Document Retention, Shipping, Receiving, and Gov Warehouse Admin roles.

+ Assimilate weekly & monthly metrics data reports and submit to Logistics Leadership.

+ Coordinate tasks associated with the Inventory Management of Shelf-Life parts.

+ Assist in resolving Inventory discrepancies through physical and systematic research.

+ Weekly review of Logistics assigned Total Employee Engagements (TEE) for actions needed to successfully close out.

+ Meet regularly with programming and planning production control to understand priorities of aligned scope of work.

+ Assist in systemic project moves of inventory to and from our 3PL Location.

+ Track and provide root cause outages and errors from our Delivery Services.

+ Track and provide root cause on COPQ items.

+ Generate and present MRP End Item results at the end of the work Week.

+ Generate TO’s for MYGO product movements to and from our 3PL Location.

+ Audit Master Data File for primary locations, and proper storage of various item suffix, Vgroups, serialization.

Qualifications You Must Have

+ Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and or a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience. or an Advance Degree and a minimum of 3 years’ experience.

+ Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Production, Manufacturing and/or Warehouse.

Qualifications We Prefer

+ Experience with an Enterprise Resource System: SAP

+ Ability to develop collaborative relationships and influence up, down and/or across organizational lines.

+ Inventory / Warehouse / Receiving / Shipping experience

+ Solid understanding and experience with Microsoft: Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

+ Previous experience working in a factory or departmental ordering of supplies and materials.

+ Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.

+ Exhibit the ability to work well with others and maintain organization between cross-functional departments.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
