Job Description:
This high-profile position provides leadership, strategic direction, and operational responsibility for Inpatient rehabilitation services at five hospital locations with over 100 licensed beds. This is a system-level leadership role reporting to Vice President of Rehabilitation Services and serving as a critical member of the Rehabilitation Executive team. This position is responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction for inpatient rehabilitation units and all aspects of rehabilitation services within the units, including patient safety, quality, access, stewardship, and caregiver engagement. The position works closely with the inpatient rehabilitation medical director and the director of rehabilitation nursing services.
Essential** **Functions
+ Responsible for the strategic vision, goals, and initiatives associated with rehabilitation services. Works collaboratively with rehabilitation services directors and managers, operations officers, and executive leadership to ensure continued progress toward achievement of shared goals and full-scale integration.
+ Ensures that all assigned rehabilitation services operate perpetually compliantly with all State and Federal laws and Intermountain policies and procedures.
+ Creates, implements, and continually assesses progress toward business objectives for assigned operations.
+ Establishes reporting systems, performance standards and methodology for measuring personnel performance.
+ Educates and holds leaders accountable for appropriate business operations, inventory management, budgets, staffing levels, and workflows.
+ Develops and updates policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures.Develops and applies a systematic approach assessing adherence to policies, procedures, guidelines, and other requirements pertinent to rehabilitation services and holds direct reports accountable for maintaining a just-culture environment.
+ Regularly visit assigned operations and work collaboratively with rehabilitation services directors and managers, operations officers, and executive leadership.
+ Models and fosters an environment of professionalism, continuous learning, and clinical excellence.
+ Works closely with physicians and medical-group leadership to identify innovative opportunities for rehabilitation services.

Required** **Qualifications
+ Master's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, related field, or graduate degree in a therapy related field (e.g., speech therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy). Education must be obtained from an accredited institution and degree will be verified.
+ Five years of experience in rehabilitation services.
+ Strong attention to detail, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Five years of leadership experience.
+ Experience in change management.
+ Experience in an integrated healthcare delivery system.
With this position, you are eligible to participate in the Annual Pay for Performance (AP4P) Plan. This plan enables Intermountain Health to provide leaders with an additional performance compensation opportunity. The AP4P award opportunities are calculated as a percentage of your base salary. Awards are paid out based on attainment of selected Board-approved goals.

+ Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, documents, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs.
+ Frequent interactions with providers, colleagues, customers, patients/clients, and visitors require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, needs, and issues quickly and accurately.
+ Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use for typing, accessing needed information, etc.
+ May have the same physical requirements as those of clinical or patient care jobs when the leader takes clinical shifts.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$66.41 - $102.52
