With our Credit Oversight team, the Consumer Loan Doc Processor is responsible for processing consumer real estate loan transactions according to product and underwriting guidelines. You will obtain and review any necessary documentation to assure loan transactions are complete and documented properly prior to submission to underwriting and preparation of loan documents. This position will be the main contact for the member banks for questions and status updates and will be responsible for managing the loan file to ensure timely closings.

The fast-paced environment with unpredictable scenarios keeps our associates flexible and adaptable to changes to meet our overall business needs.

The UMB Credit Oversight department is about creating strong connections amongst its associates to develop and maintain a positive working experience. Associates are supported and encouraged to work with Managers and Senior Leaders associates to develop roadmaps for opportunity within the Consumer realm or other departments and avenues throughout UMB.

_How you’ll spend your time:_

+ Monitor electronically delivered early disclosures for timely acceptance of the documents and take necessary actions to comply with timely delivery.

+ Monitor in progress loan files for fee or rate changes that would prompt a re-disclosure in accordance with regulation standards.

+ Monitor and receive due diligence documents prior and after underwriting. Including but not limited to title work, property evaluations, flood determination, hazard insurance and HOA fees.

+ Verify title is clear of outstanding taxes, judgements and in the lien position according to the approval.

+ Adjust initial loan file set up based on analysis of returned due diligence documents.

+ You have at least two (2) years of Consumer Loan or Bank Lending experience

+ You demonstrate a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Compensation Range:

$38,910.00 - $75,080.00
