Salary Range: $4,500 per 3-credit course
Duration: Fall 2025 semester
Brief Description of Duties:
SUNY Morrisville seeks candidates for adjunct faculty to teach NATR 103 Lab sections for the Fall 2025 semester (8/26/2025-12/17/2025).
Operation, safety and preventative maintenance of natural resource equipment including chainsaws, log skidder, log loader, dump truck, bulldozer, forklift, skid steer loader, backhoe, and flatbed trailer is practiced. Included in this course is the instruction and hands-on operation of chainsaws, which with additional training in adult first aid/CPR and environmental concerns will qualify students for New York State Logger certification.
Courses may include:
+ NATR 103 Natural Resources Equipment Operation Lab sections (Fridays 9:00-11:50 am and 12:00-2:50 pm)
Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
+ Game of Logging (or equivalent) Certification
+ 5+ years of experience
Preferred Qualifications
+ Associate Degree in related field (AAS or AOS)
