    Program Summary

    The KBR UABOS Program provides comprehensive BASE OPERATING SUPPORT – INSTALLATION (BOS-I) services at Incirlik Air Base in Turkey. These services are delivered to support the 39th Air Base Wing, mission partners, and tenant units, encompassing a diverse range of personnel including transient, temporary duty (TDY), permanent party, and rotational personnel. The program ensures the seamless functioning of operations, maintenance, and support activities essential for the sustained mission readiness and operational effectiveness of UABOS and its associated units.

    Job Summary

    The UABOS (Turkey) Security Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing security policies and protocols to protect organizational assets, including sensitive information, personnel, and property. This role involves conducting risk assessments, performing security audits, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The Security Specialist will work to mitigate potential security threats, enforce security measures, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain a secure environment.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    + Conduct thorough assessments of organizational security risks and vulnerabilities.

    + Develop strategies to mitigate identified risks and enhance overall safety.

    + Create and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols tailored to the organization's needs.

    + Regularly review and update security measures to adapt to evolving threats.

    + Develop and execute incident response plans to address security breaches and emergencies.

    + Investigate security incidents and breaches, document findings and recommend corrective actions.

    + Conduct training sessions for employees on security awareness, policies, and best practices.

    + Promote a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.

    + Ensure organizational compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

    + Liaise with external regulatory bodies or security organizations as necessary.

    + Work closely with the management team and departments to enhance organizational security.

    + Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency response teams as needed.

    + Prepare and present reports on security incidents, assessments, and compliance audits to senior management.

    + Maintain comprehensive documentation of security activities and policies.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    Basic Qualifications

    + Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current U.S. Driver’s License (minimum “C” Class)

    + Bachelor’s degree in security management, Information Technology, Criminal Justice, or a related field.

    + 2-4 years of experience in security operations, risk management, or a related field.

    + Must be fluent in English.

    + Must possess passport book (not passport card) with at least 12 months of remaining validity AND with at least 4 blank visa/stamp pages remaining.

    + Must possess driver's license with at least 6 months of remaining validity.

    + Must hold an active DoD secret clearance or be able to obtain this clearance prior to deployment and must maintain such clearance for the duration of employment in this role.

    + Proven experience in security management or a related field, preferably in a corporate setting.

    + Knowledge of security technologies, risk assessment methodologies, and incident response strategies.

    + Familiarity with relevant laws and regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, GDPR).

    + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Additional certifications in security or related fields.

    + Previous experience working with government or military agencies.

    + Experience in managing electronic databases and archives.

    + Knowledge of international security protocols and procedures.

    + Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

    + Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
