    Job Description

    The Process, Transformation & Automation team, and is a central resource to support identification and evaluation of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI/ML), Automation, and Process improvement opportunities. The team solves challenging and complex operational problems across various functions, providing a broad exposure across Operations. Simplification, speed, and efficiency is a critical part of our strategy, and as a Process Automation and AI Solutions Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving our strategy forward. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and leadership to identify opportunities and translate them into actionable plans and ensure their effective execution.

     

    Your expertise in process analytics, AI/ML technologies, automation, and problem-solving will be essential to deliver results and achieve our business objectives. You will work in a collaborative fashion with a large cross section of stakeholders, partners and other SMEs. Work includes analyzing and measuring the effectives of existing business processes and developing sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable improvements.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Assessment, design, and execution planning of improvement initiatives, including data collection, quantitative and qualitative analysis, SME interviews, process mapping, and gap analyses to identify opportunities for AI/ML, process improvements, automation, and optimizations.

    + Synthesize insights, draw conclusions, and translate insights and recommendations into presentable slides and build a cohesive story.

    + Provide objective advice, expertise, and specialist skills with the aim of creating value, maximizing growth, or improving business performance.

    + Collaboration and partnership with Business Lines. Foster strong working relationships with various departments and SMEs.

    + Engages with other departments to better understand business requirements and

    + collaborate on solutions. Establish KPIs to measure effectiveness of improvement initiatives.

    + Prepare regular presentations to highlight progress, challenges, and recommended actions.

    + Participate in the identification and assessment of potential new projects.

    + Research best business practices within and outside the department to establish benchmark data.

    Basic Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

    + Eight to 10 years of related experience

    Preferred Skills/Experience:

    + Conceptual knowledge of fundamental theories, principles and practices, and basic understanding of business operations

    + Experience with Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI/ML) and Automation solutions

    + Effective influence, change management, and coaching skills

    + Strong technical skills in process mapping, procedure creation, and controls

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to gather and interpret data to inform decision-making.

    + Effective verbal and written presentation and communication skills

    + Ability to work closely with colleagues at all levels, from business leaders to front line staff.

    + Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, manage competing priorities, and comfortable working through ambiguity.

    + Training/certification in Lean Management System, Lean Six Sigma, and Process improvement methodologies/tools.

    Location Expectations:

    _The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days._

    The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $119,765.00 - $140,900.00 - $154,990.00
