Job Description

Manages the preparation of financial reports which may include accounting, regulatory or management reports. Develops and directs the preparation of reports which assist in the analysis by senior management or other recipients of performance or position of the in-scope area. Analyzes assigned financial reports, augmenting with further research as needed and provides recommendations to management based on findings. Works closely with central functions, such as the Accounting Policy team or Law Division. Develops, recommends, and implements accounting policies and procedures in response to new laws and regulations. Manages various financial reporting projects or studies.

Location Expectations

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

- Five or more years of related experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

- Working knowledge of financial analysis techniques and general accounting procedures

- Experience with financial modeling

- Prior experience in Payments preferred

- Well-developed mathematical and analytical skills

- Thorough knowledge in financial analysis

- Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data

- Strong technical skills related to data mining and visualization tools, primarily Microsoft Excel

- Master's degree preferred
